[edit] Notes

  • This quest can be either a Solo or Heroic quest, depending on the path you take.
  • This quest spans from 20 to 50.
  • This quest is one of several that you can do to complete A Darkened Shard, Part 2.
  • If you die in the instance, the revive point is back in Splitpaw Den. Reviving here will erase the quest from your journal. Evac has the same effect.
  • If you kill every monster in either wing, then a boss monster will spawn near the entrance. You may choose to kill this monster for treasure before leaving the instance. The solo wing produces a solo boss, while the heroic wing produces a heroic boss.

[edit] Steps

  1. Zone into The Hideout at ( -84, -73, -159 ) /waypoint -84, -73, -159.
  2. Destroy 10 supply crates by placing barrels next to them and detonating them.
    • There is a solo path, which is to the right from entrance; as well as a heroic path, which is straight ahead from entrance.
    • If a mob is near to the barrel it will take damage and if you are invis/stealth it will break. If the damage isn't enough to kill the mob, it will come after you.
  3. (Optional) If you cleared every monster in the wing of the dungeon, then Quartermaster Girtor will have spawned near the entrance, which you may choose to kill for treasure. (more information needed)

[edit] Reward

  • Experience
  • Counts for 1 of the 3 quests you must do to aid the Splitpaw Gnolls in completing [[A Darkened Shard, Part 2.
