This is the only dungeon in Kunark low enough for characters in their low 70s to xp grind (although a high level tank is recommended). At release, xp was extremely slow but SoE have subsequently claimed to have increased the xp rate.

Karnor's Castle is filled with level 73+ heroic mobs and far more difficult than it is worth. Even after the xp rate increase, completing the solo quests in Kylong Plains and/or Fens of Nathsar may still be a faster way to level characters.

The Drolvarg lore and legend book is picked up from this zone and is probably the best reason for entering.
